How We Train Players at Nova
Our training model is built on USSF player-development standards, intentional session design, competitive gameplay, and performance-based placement. Players are developed through structure, repetition, and accountability — not casual participation.
USSF Standards
Training is built around the USSF player-development framework, with sessions designed to develop technical ability, tactical awareness, decision-making, and game understanding.
Session Design
The Technical Director designs and leads the training model, while coaches implement each session with purpose, structure, and clear developmental goals.
Gameplay Application
Players build technique and ball mastery through repetition, then apply it in competitive small-sided play that reinforces speed of play, creativity, and decision-making.
How We Place
Players are evaluated by effort, attitude, and ability. Movement between groups is performance-based, rewarding players who compete, stay coachable, and consistently perform.
